Here is a timeline of changes that ShareTXT has undergone in the past. I will update this page as new version updates are rolled out

  • 5.3.2 (2024-03-01): New and improved AI model added for the AI writer and Text summarizer apps
  • 5.3.1 (2024-01-14): Update and user interface improvements to the blog
  • 5.3.0 (2024-01-12): The Chat app successfully added to ShareTXT. You can now setup, meet up, and chat with anybody or group online end-to-end in real-time
  • 5.2.1 (2023-08-01): Implemented fix for ShareTXT AI Writer app
  • 5.2.0 (2023-04-14): Added QR codes to each page on the ShareTXT website to enable you to quickly share and open the URL of the current page on your other devices
  • 5.1.0 (2023-04-13): The Share Files app successfully added to ShareTXT. You can now share documents and files between your devices in real-time
  • 5.0.1 (2023-04-06): Added the ability to change your username and password and deactivate your ShareTXT account plus some minor bug fixes with file sharing.
  • 4.2.3 (2023-04-01): AI Summarizer app language model update. Making summarization more human-like
  • 4.2.2 (2023-03-16): ChatGPT API added to AI Writer app
  • 4.2.1 (2023-02-26): Update and bug fixes for AI writer
  • 4.2.0 (2022-12-18): Added French translation and some user interface improvements
  • 4.1.0 (2022-11-14): Thanks to your massive support on Buy Me A Coffee we have upgraded AI models to compete with and at times outperform the output of paid alternatives. This means that AI writer and AI summarizer have now received massive upgrades. You can continue to use them for FREE. Use the contact form here to report bugs or feature requests.
  • 4.0.0 (2022-10-13): New app (AI summarizer) added to the ShareTXT collection of apps, UI improvement for dark/light mode, security updates, improved site translation to cover the entire site, select the language in settings for logged-in users, and overall site speed performance optimization.
  • 3.1.1 (2022-09-06): Upgraded the AI writer app with a new training model to produce better suggestions
  • 3.1.0 (2022-03-30): Added the replace text feature to the content auditor app
  • 3.0.1 (2022-03-23): Added the save button for logged-in users to enable them to save their content in ShareTXT
  • 3.0.0 (2021-12-25): Added the following apps: content auditor, ai writer, search analysis, speech-to-text, text-to-speech, countdown timer, and stopwatch. Major update to the website user interface, created about page, added terms and conditions, blog and contact us
  • 2.1.1 (2021-11-14): Improved the UI and added instructions on how to use ShareTXT on the homepage
  • 2.1.0 (2021-10-20): Added Gmail signup and updated the UI interface
  • 2.0.0 (2021-5-20): Added SSL certificates to sharetxt.live
  • 1.5.2 (2021-7-29): Fixed the input field from displaying an undefined placeholder
  • 1.5.1 (2021-7-23): Updated to provide automatic localized language selection using IP address
  • 1.5.0 (2021-7-23): Updated the night mode implementation and added localization support for Chinese, Malay, Spanish, German, and Hindi
  • 1.4.3 (2021-6-2): Updated the analytics provider to use page insight analytics
  • 1.4.2 (2021-5-26): Made the "copy to clipboard" button responsive
  • 1.4.1 (2021-4-24): Created the dialog on clicking the route to redirect to a new route from the current route
  • 1.4.0 (2021-4-23): New UI, Night mode, replaced text input with text area
  • 1.3.0 (2021-2-14): Added encryption to the message sent through to the devices connected through the web socket connection
  • 1.2.3 (2021-2-14): Replaced font awesome copy icon with png
  • 1.2.2 (2021-2-12): Created the documentation
  • 1.2.1 (2021-2-12): Fixed a bug with automatic connection termination after some period of inactivity
  • 1.2.0 (2021-2-11): Added a feature to display the total number of clients connected in a route
  • 1.1.2 (2021-2-11): Updated the website icon, and social media card and added the product hunt logo
  • 1.1.1 (2021-2-9): Fixed a bug to notify connected clients of a terminated connection
  • 1.1.0 (2021-2-9): Added ejs to create dynamic web pages to support routes
  • 1.0.2 (2021-2-8): Removed the send button when a text is entered into the input field enabling text to be sent automatically when data is entered into the input field
  • 1.0.1 (2021-2-8): Updated the user interface
